Overview

What are Colpermin Capsules?

Colpermin Capsules contain peppermint oil in a protective slow-release formulation designed to provide rapid relief from symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). They help relax the muscles in the bowel, reducing painful cramps, bloating, and discomfort associated with IBS.

The capsules survive stomach acid intact and release peppermint oil directly into the small intestine where it is most effective.

How Do Colpermin Capsules Work?

Colpermin’s slow-release coating allows peppermint oil to reach the lower bowel, where it:

  • Relaxes intestinal muscles to ease cramps
  • Reduces trapped wind and bloating
  • Helps regulate bowel movements

How to Take Colpermin Capsules

Adults 18 years and older: Take 1 capsule three times daily with water.

  • Avoid taking capsules immediately after meals.
  • Swallow capsules whole; do not chew or break.
  • If symptoms are severe, the dose can be increased to 2 capsules three times daily.

Always read the product packaging and patient leaflet before use.
